All volunteers must be at least high school age unless accompanied by an adult. Each volunteer will receive a FREE Floatzilla 2016 t-shirt and a boat-load of thanks!
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the weather. Wear your Floatzilla t-shirt, shorts, and comfortable shoes. You may wish to bring a hat, something cool to drink, and wear sunscreen. It can be quite warm and sunny.
ASSIGNMENTS AND CONFIRMATIONS
Volunteers will receive confirmation of your assignment, date and time, and an orientation will be scheduled for volunteers where T-shirts will be distributed. The date and location of the orientation have not yet been set. Check back later for details.
If you find you cannot volunteer for Floatzilla after signing up and training, please call ahead to tell organizers you won't be able to help. The number is 563-322-2969. You may also call 563-320-1012 on the day of the event.
Volunteers helping in the launch, loading and unloading areas MUST be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds as they will be assisting with unloading, launching and loading kayaks and canoes.
