Volunteer
All volunteers must be at least high school age unless accompanied by an adult. Each volunteer will receive a FREE Floatzilla 2013 t-shirt and bumper/boat sticker.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the weather. Wear your Floatzilla t-shirt, shorts and comfortable shoes.
ASSIGNMENTS AND CONFIRMATIONS
Volunteers will receive confirmation of your assignment, date and time. Orientation for volunteers will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, August 16, Credit Island Lodge, Davenport. T-shirts will be distributed at the meeting.
IMPORTANT!
If you find you cannot volunteer for Floatzilla after signing up and training, please call ahead to tell organizers you won't be able to help. The number is 563-322-2969.
Volunteers helping in the launch, loading and unloading areas MUST be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds as they will be assisting with unloading, launching and loading kayaks and canoes.
