DIRECTIONS
The Quad Cities is easily accessed where I-80 and I-74 cross the Mississippi River. Directions to Floatzilla launch sites:
Lake Potter, Rock Island, IL - site of the World Record breaking attempt: Google Map for point-to-point directions to Lake Potter.
From the east - I-80 or I-74 to I-280 westbound towards IA. Take I-280 to H 67 north [exit 11B]. Take H 67 north to 31 Ave [1.5 miles]. Exit 31 Ave and take a left at the bottom of the ramp to Sunset Marina/Lake Potter. Follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.
From the west - I-80 to I-280 eastbound towards IL. Take I-280 to H 67 north [exit 11B in IL]. Take H 67 north to 31 Ave [1.5 miles]. Exit 31 Ave and take a left at the bottom of the ramp to Sunset Marina/Lake Potter. Follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.

From the east - I-80 or I-74 to I-280 westbound towards IA. Take I-280 to H 61 north [exit 6 in IA]. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp for H 61 north to Credit Island Lane [approx 3.5 miles]. Follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.
From the west - I-80 to I-280 eastbound towards IL. Take I-280 to H 61 north [exit 6]. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp for H 61 north to Credit Island Lane [approx 3.5 miles]. Follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.
Ben Butterworth Parkway, Moline, IL: Google Map for point-to-point directions to Ben Butterworth.
From the east - I-74 to I-80 to H 92 westbound towards East Moline [exit 4B]. Take H 92 west noting an exit ramp through Silvis, IL [approx. 3.5 miles]. Continue on H 92 west to 55 St Moline [approx 3.5 miles where one ways come together]. Turn right on 55 St & follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.
From the west - I-80 to I-74 East towards IL. I-74 to River Dr. exit in Moline [1st Exit in IL]. Turn right at bottom of the ramp, take River Dr. east [approx 2.5 miles], & follow Floatzilla signs to boat drop off and parking.
CAMPING & HOTELS
Primitive tent sites are available on Credit Island, Davenport for Fri and Sat nights.
$12 per tent site
Only above ground fire pits are allowed at camp sites - Firewood will be available for sale at Credit Island from the Friends of Credit Island. Please don't bring wood from out of state to reduce the risk of emerald ash borers
Off-site showers available for small fee
Free shuttle to River Roots Live on Fri & Sat nights
